ZYHIIER FLEMING
Mentors are important to me because they help you have a role model or someone you can look up to in case you don’t have that figure you need in your life at the time. My experience with mentoring was great because every mentor I had was a real good person, but not only that it was important to me to have another good person in my life to show me the ropes & teach me how life goes.
Mr. Jason Brown was one of my main mentors for years, he saw me grow from a kid to a young man & has helped me in any way he can since then. We played sports together, he helped me with school, we went on trips, etc. Till this day he still checks up on me & would help me if needed & Vice Versa. I appreciate him for being a part of my life & looking after me for all these years.
DAVION "DAVO" RODRIGUEZ
My Name is Davion “Davo” Rodriguez and what mentorship means to me, is someone who helps you reach the goals you want to accomplish in life. Whether that is getting better in a sport, being successful in the classroom, getting a job or any achievement you want to reach.
I had the opportunity of being mentored by Jason Brown "JB" from 7th grade up to now, which led me to being successful and joining programs similar to this one, like Right Moves For Youth. It helped me grow in becoming a better athlete, a better student and a better person. I am grateful to say that JB has been a family member for years now.
GERALDO RODRIGUEZ
I was approached by Jason Brown at a young age regarding a program called "Right Moves For Youth''. The program is designed to help youth and teens develop the skills to succeed in school and life. I am a witness to the success the program has on young men/women. Jason has mentored me since Elementary school and still does till this day. I look forward to seeing the impact J&J Leadership Academy will make in the near future to its community.
